Artist Statement

My main goal when taking a photograph is to either

create composition out of chaos or interest out of emptiness.

I like to be alone for an hour or so looking around to see if any scrubby nature-y bits can be photographed in a pleasing way. I like that my breathing and heart rate slow when I am looking through the viewfinder adjusting the focus in and out.
