Fall Crab Apple...again #5 (Oct 6)

Fall Crab Apple #5 (Oct 6)

I feel anxious that fall is going to end soon and with it will end this year's project documenting leaves, branches, berries, and olives.  I'm going to miss it.

I have no project lined up yet for the long winter.  It might be still-life, it might be of my cats.

The picture on the left is complex, beautiful, and has no meaning unless you choose to give it one. Today I choose for it to mean that it it a representation of how lucky I was to notice this tree, on this particular day.

You had great good fortune, Mike: the lighting, the color, the layering, it's all such a great moment in time, and you captured it.

About Me

My photo
Minneapolis, MN, United States
Photographer/Artist based in Mpls, MN. I have a studio in the NE Arts District--Studio #274 at the Northrup King Bldg, 1500 Jackson St NE. I photograph elements of nature to explore color, shape, and composition. My goal is to capture images of the nature around me in a way that explodes (or seaps) with beauty. If that nature is in a vacant city lot, all the better. (All images Copyrighted. Use permitted with permission).
