Remembering Summer Trees

Had enough of Winter yet?
Here are a couple trees from July and August.  I miss seeing leaves.  The winter branches surrounding me now do not inspire me.  I know I should be able to find the beauty regardless of the season, but I'm not feeling it.

I have been cropping all of my images square for a while now so I forget how things look when I see them in my viewfinder.  Actually, this is not quite full frame in ratio, but certainly not square.

What would you think of this as a post card?
