Pondles February 2009

Pondle February 2 #41 - #110

This is the best time of year to head back down to Victory Memorial Parkway for another series of pondle images. For those who don't remember, Pondles and pond-sized puddles. The parkway by my house is full of them.

This is my first year since 2006 that I have not had access to the Lowry Bridge for ice photos of the Mississippi River. I miss the routine of going to the bridge at dawn, freezing my lens cap off, then heading to Sip for coffee and baked goods. I'm grateful that the parkway is still providing the opportunity for interesting images. But it provides fewer opportunity for baked goods.

Lots of good texture in these.

About Me

My photo
Minneapolis, MN, United States
Photographer/Artist based in Mpls, MN. I have a studio in the NE Arts District--Studio #274 at the Northrup King Bldg, 1500 Jackson St NE. I photograph elements of nature to explore color, shape, and composition. My goal is to capture images of the nature around me in a way that explodes (or seaps) with beauty. If that nature is in a vacant city lot, all the better. (All images Copyrighted. Use permitted with permission).
