Russian Olive Tree - #47 and #53 (Dec 1)

Russian Olive Tree
This photo was taken from the parking lot of the Terrace Movie Theater. It has been closed for decades now, so the parking lot was empty.  I parked in the middle of the lot, took my photos in the sub-zero temps for about 10 minutes, then got back into my car.

Then I backed into the only lightpost in the parking lot and cracked my bumper. What are the odds?  I bet superglue can put it back together again.  My ego, however, remains bruised.

About Me

My photo
Minneapolis, MN, United States
Photographer/Artist based in Mpls, MN. I have a studio in the NE Arts District--Studio #274 at the Northrup King Bldg, 1500 Jackson St NE. I photograph elements of nature to explore color, shape, and composition. My goal is to capture images of the nature around me in a way that explodes (or seaps) with beauty. If that nature is in a vacant city lot, all the better. (All images Copyrighted. Use permitted with permission).
