Crab Tree Inverse
I saw an exhibit by Sean Smuda at Design Within Reach in Mpls, MN where he had some beautiful prints on what looked like drafting paper. Pics of things like a 10 speed bike with a ship's sail. I can't find any photos of this in his website, but you'll have to trust me that they looked quite cool.
They pics looked like a negative image so that the white area was shown as blue on the blue paper. I think about those photographs when I invert the colors on my crab apple images.
