Tree- East River Rd #7 - Grid

East River Rd #7

If you have ever tried to have a lab print a 40x40 inch print, you'll know that the price is ridiculously expensive, especially if you just want so if something looks good that large.

This is one of my favorite images from this Spring and I am considering sectioning off the image into four 20x20 prints, then hanging them in a grid.  I imagine them either mounted to 3/4in board and placed in a thin canvas floater frame, or else mounted to aluminum with a bracket in the back so it floats an inch off the wall.

How do you think this image works as a grid?

About Me

My photo
Minneapolis, MN, United States
Photographer/Artist based in Mpls, MN. I have a studio in the NE Arts District--Studio #274 at the Northrup King Bldg, 1500 Jackson St NE. I photograph elements of nature to explore color, shape, and composition. My goal is to capture images of the nature around me in a way that explodes (or seaps) with beauty. If that nature is in a vacant city lot, all the better. (All images Copyrighted. Use permitted with permission).
