Birch #1
In order to not get in a rut shooting only Chinese Elm Trees, I thought I'd look around at what else the forest (err, park) had to offer. And I think I also need to do a little homework on what trees I'm actually photographing. This one is probably a birch. I like it.I really enjoy standing in the middle of all the branches and watching the dappled light fall around me. I think the close-up blurry bits help with the feel of being consumed by nature.
I'm still in the process of defining this Tree Project, so I am interested in what you think. The hardest part of photographing for me is finding the vocabulary to describe it.
