Health Club Ruins

This is what is left of the Highway 100 Northwest Health Club.  I liked going here.  It was close to my house, there was always and empty Eliptical machine, and I could watch people play tennis.

I am facinated with temporary pyramids like this.  They can be huge, pop up anywhere, and disappear just as fast.  In every case they are a depiction of change.  I'm not always a fan of change, but I like to be aware of when it is happening.

About Me

My photo
Minneapolis, MN, United States
Photographer/Artist based in Mpls, MN. I have a studio in the NE Arts District--Studio #274 at the Northrup King Bldg, 1500 Jackson St NE. I photograph elements of nature to explore color, shape, and composition. My goal is to capture images of the nature around me in a way that explodes (or seaps) with beauty. If that nature is in a vacant city lot, all the better. (All images Copyrighted. Use permitted with permission).
